Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs has admitted that winning against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday will not be easy.
David Moyes's side suffered a 2-1 home defeat to West Bromwich Albion last weekend and were held to a 1-1 draw by Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine in the Champions League on Wednesday.
"We didn't play well at the weekend," Giggs told MUTV on Wednesday. "We tried to make ourselves difficult to beat tonight and we did that against a very good team. Hopefully we can build a bit of momentum going into the weekend.
"We want to get a run together and hopefully it'll start at the weekend. It won't be easy, they've just got a new caretaker manager (Kevin Ball), they'll be up for it and, like any game in the Premier League, it'll be tough."
United are currently 12th in the league table, while Sunderland at the foot of the standings.
