Ryan Giggs says that it would be "huge" to beat Manchester City to the Premier League title.

Ryan Giggs has said that Manchester United will not take their foot off the pedal as they close in on their 20th Premier League title.

The Red Devils are currently eight points ahead of their rivals with six games remaining.

Giggs believes that beating City to the title would be "huge" considering the money city rivals boss Roberto Mancini has at his disposal.

"To win the title would be huge when you look at the spending power of Manchester City," said Giggs. "We are experienced enough to know that there are still plenty of points to be gained and lost.

"Until it is mathematically impossible for us to be caught, we won't be counting our chickens. We never do."

United face Wigan Athletic tomorrow.
