Manchester United striker Ryan Giggs has insisted that the club move on after their 3-0 defeat at Newcastle United.
The Reds, who fired a blank for the first time this season, failed to go level on points with league leaders Manchester City.
"You can have these nights, nobody likes them and nobody wants them but it can happen," Giggs told the club's official website.
"You have got to give credit to Newcastle. They worked hard, closed us down and scored a couple of good goals so we have just got to take it and move on.
"It is a difficult place to come and get a win but we didn't play to our capabilities and when you don't do that against a team like Newcastle, who are riding high this season, you are always going to come unstuck."
United travel to Manchester City in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
