Ander Herrera has insisted that he has the ability to play the number 10 role for Manchester United.
Wayne Rooney and Angel di Maria are both struggling with injuries ahead of Tuesday's Premier League clash with Stoke City, which will open up at least one attacking midfield role at Old Trafford.
Herrera returned to action in Saturday's 3-0 win over Hull City and has claimed that he is ready to start at 10 for Louis van Gaal's side.
"I played like a No.10 and it is good because I can change positions," Herrera told United's official website.
"I can give the manager more options."
United have won their last three games in the league.
