Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard is expecting Manchester United to snap out of their slump before the end of the season.
The champions are currently seventh in the Premier League and have been knocked out of both the FA Cup and League Cup.
However, the American stopper still thinks that United will be "right in the thick of it" by the end of the campaign.
He told Sky Sports News: "I've got no doubt that they'll be there, right in the thick of it come May 11. Obviously they're the reigning champions and have a lot to prove to everyone.
"Of course with this season, everyone was always going to be keeping an eye on them with Alex Ferguson [retiring].
"There's a lot of scrutiny on Man United, but I still expect them to push us and the teams that are around us. Hopefully we can keep them down there."
Roberto Martinez's side are currently sixth in the Premier League.
