Manchester United defender Phil Jones has said that he is "delighted" to be back playing again following his return from injury against Swansea City this afternoon.
Jones was a surprise inclusion in United's starting XI at the Liberty Stadium, but got through the full 90 minutes in what was his first competitive appearance for the club since January.
The match also saw Jose Mourinho's side return to both winning and goalscoring ways as they eased to a 3-1 victory, and Jones was full of praise for the performance.
"It's been a long and frustrating time for me but I am delighted with the win, and to have got back playing again," he told reporters.
"As a footballer all you want to do is play football, but hopefully it's onwards and upwards now. I just want to play as many games as possible for Manchester United.
"That was one of the best attacking performance we've had, we probably should have been four or five goals up by half time. Everyone to a man was terrific."
The victory was United's first away from home in the Premier League since August.
