Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has claimed that he and his teammates are in "good spirits" following their win over recently-relegated Aston Villa at the weekend.
The Red Devils have struggled for consistency this season, which has put pressure on the shoulders of manager Louis van Gaal.
United recovered from their 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur by sealing a 1-0 win over Villa at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The team have an FA Cup semi-final against Everton at Wembley scheduled for this weekend, but prior to that they will take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
"Our goal is to play the Champions League the next season and all we think about right now is to win every single game," Mata wrote in his weekly blog.
"We are in good spirits ahead of these two games after the win against Aston Villa. The last week was very positive for us and it should help the team to gather momentum for the last few games."
United are currently fifth in the league table, four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal with five games left to play.
