New Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa believes that living in the North West will prove to be an "exciting" experience for the former Borussia Dortmund player.
The 23-year-old made the switch from Germany to Old Trafford last month and is relishing the new season with the Red Devils.
"The city and architecture is quite different from Dortmund," Kagawa wrote in his official blog, "I still feel like I am a tourist - everything is new and exciting.
"Manchester is very relaxing and the time is flowing very slowly. I think this is a great environment for a football player."
Kagawa is expected to make his United debut today in a pre-season friendly against AmaZulu in South Africa.
