Shinji Kagawa has said that it was "a dream" to play in the Premier League with Manchester United.
The Japan international joined the club from Borussia Dortmund in 2012, but returned to the German side this summer after failing to secure regular first-team football with the Old Trafford team.
The 25-year-old told The Express: "The Premier League was a dream for me and I wanted to try and succeed there.
"However, now I am happy to be back at Dortmund with a great team, unique fans and fantastic surroundings. Being with Dortmund is like being with family."
Kagawa could make his second debut for the German side when they face Freiburg this weekend.
