Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has admitted that he is "relishing the challenge" of bettering himself after equalling Belgium's all-time record goals tally.
The 24-year-old put his club struggles to one side on Friday night to net twice for his national team, bagging a 70th-minute equaliser against Mexico to move level with Paul van Himst and Bernard Voorhoof on 30 goals.
Lukaku, without a goal for United since September 30 - eight matches ago - is now hoping to push on with plenty more years ahead of him to set further records.
"At my young age to have achieved something great like this is really good," he told reporters after the 3-3 draw. "But there is a lot of work to be done everyday and I'm just relishing the challenges on a weekly basis."
Despite his recent goalscoring drought, Lukaku still has 16 goals in 20 appearances for club and country in 2017-18.
