A number of Manchester United players have reportedly started calling for Jadon Sancho to be reintegrated into the squad following his exile under manager Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag criticised Sancho for a lack of effort in training back in September, which the player responded to on social media by essentially accusing his manager of dishonesty.
The 23-year-old's response led to him being dropped from the first team by the United boss.
According to the Daily Mirror, Sancho is training intensely on his own since being excluded by Ten Hag following the dispute, and it is believed that several of his teammates are now calling for the winger to be brought back into the squad.
The report adds that this comes at a time when the United manager is facing challenges with maintaining the support of his players following their 1-0 defeat against Newcastle United last weekend.
However, it is understood that Ten Hag is unwilling to consider reinstating the England international until he apologises, which is something that the player has refused to do to date.
Sancho's last appearance for Manchester United was back in August when he played for 30 minutes in a 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest.
Several clubs across Europe, including the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan, are believed to be linked with a possible move for the ex-Borussia Dortmund star in the upcoming transfer window.
