Manchester United have reportedly set their sights on recruiting Sevilla sporting director Monchi this summer.
The Spaniard has helped Sevilla to claim nine trophies over the past 10 years, including the Europa League title five times, despite being forced to sell their best players on a number of occasions.
Monchi has earned the club more than £150m in profit in the transfer market, picking up the likes of Ivan Rakitic, Dani Alves and Sergio Ramos on the cheap before selling them on for big money.
New United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly a big fan of Monchi and wants to link up with him at Old Trafford next season, according to AS.
The report goes on to say that the Red Devils will have to pay €5m (£3.8m) as a buy-out clause to prise him away from Seville.
United spent more than £250m under previous boss Louis van Gaal, but still missed out on a top-four spot in the season just finished.
