Manchester United have done little to quiet speculation over Louis van Gaal's potential appointment as the club's new manager by deciding to broadcast the Netherlands' friendly against Ecuador on Saturday.
It was widely believed that the 62-year-old, who coaches the Dutch national team, would have been named as United's permanent manager this week, but the announcement has been delayed.
While United remain silent on Van Gaal's possible arrival, the club's in-house television channel MUTV is due to broadcast the Netherlands' match against Ecuador.
The club told supporters on Twitter that they will be airing the match to give fans the chance to watch Robin van Persie face his teammate Antonio Valencia.
