Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly rejected a number of offers in recent months as he waits to return to the dugout.

The Argentine has been out of work since being removed from his position at Tottenham Hotspur 12 months ago, a development which has led to frequent speculation regarding his next move.

While Manchester United have continually been linked with an approach, club officials have so far showed faith in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

According to the Daily Mail, United may soon have to change their stance if they regard Pochettino as an eventual replacement for the Norwegian.

The report suggests that Pochettino is itching to begin another project, whether that be at Old Trafford or elsewhere in Europe.

United are expected to remain with Solskjaer in the short term as the club attempt to qualify for the Champions League last 16. body check tags ::
