Roberto Mancini has said that his side will not fall for Sir Alex Ferguson's mind games.
The Italian, whose side have a chance to go clear at the top of the table this afternoon, has told his team to take one game at a time and not think about other managers' remarks.
"I only think about the next game," he said. "I don't think about what Fergie or any other manager says about my team. I know what Sir Alex is like. But words between managers are not important.
"We have respect for him and for his team, but we are strong enough here to just keep our eyes on the title. I won't have any pressure from Fergie because my focus is on my team and we don't listen to anyone else."
Meanwhile, Mancini takes his side to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland this afternoon.
