Marcus Rashford has supposedly informed those close to him that he intends to leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old has struggled for regular starts under Ralf Rangnick this term and was left out of the latest England squad for March's international break amid his lack of game time.
Rashford has only started 10 Premier League games in the 2021-22 campaign - registering four goals and two assists in the process - and he has been linked with an exit in recent weeks.
Now, Football Insider claims that the Englishman has decided that now is the time to head for the Old Trafford exit door, and he has announced his intentions to his friends.
The report adds that Rashford believes a new challenge could be the best option for him at this stage of his career, and his stance has nothing to do with the uncertainty surrounding the managerial situation at the club.
Rashford has scored 93 goals and provided 58 assists in 297 games for the Red Devils since rising through the youth ranks, and his contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of next season.
