The agent of in-form Anthony Martial has mocked Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for his reason behind choosing not to sign the Manchester United striker.
The French manager is reported to have known about the 19-year-old - who joined the Red Devils from AS Monaco for £36m - but opted against a move.
Wenger is said to have been reluctant because he believed that Martial was a winger, and felt that the Gunners were well stocked in that department.
"Anthony is a true modern centre-forward who can play a part," Philippe Lamboley told RMC Sport of his client, who has scored four goals in as many games from a central role.
"I am surprised by the analysis of Arsene Wenger, who has apparently been following him since he was a teenager.
"If the analysis Arsene Wenger has made is in order to justify not having signed Anthony, I accept he is a winger. But in football, there are those who follow players and those who buy them."
Martial has three goals in the Premier League and one in the League Cup, despite only joining on transfer deadline day.
