Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has expressed his pride at having scored the club's 1,000th home Premier League goal.
The Frenchman's 54th-minute strike was enough to give his side a 1-0 victory over Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday, with the hosts becoming the first team to reach the 1,000 milestone in the process.
The goal further added to a special occasion after the South Stand was renamed in honour of club legend Sir Bobby Charlton before kickoff.
The victory took United back to within one point of local rivals Manchester City in the final Champions League place.
