Juan Mata has insisted that Manchester United will win silverware during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's time at the club.
The Red Devils have endured a pitiful start to the 2019-20 campaign, managing just two wins from their opening seven games.
United's chances of claiming a 21st league title seem already over, with the club 12 points behind leaders Liverpool.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of United's clash with AZ Alkmaar, Mata told The Mirror: "I think that when the club says we're going to take time and the manager as well, we don't believe it's going to be too long.
"I think this club, since I've been born, has always been winning. [Ole] has won here a lot as a player and, for me, personally, I have been here for a few years already and won a few things, but obviously, my aim in my mind is only to win something important with United.
"I believe that during my time here as a player we can do it."
United's last major honour came in May 2017, when Jose Mourinho's side beat Ajax 2-0 in the Europa League final in Stockholm.
The club then reached the FA Cup final a year later, only to lose 1-0 to Chelsea courtesy of an Eden Hazard penalty, and have not played in a final since then.
