Nemanja Matic has described Manchester United teammate Scott McTominay as an "amazing" talent after forcing his way into the first-team picture.
The 21-year-old has started each of the Red Devils' last three games, including the crucial meetings with Sevilla and Chelsea over the past week.
Matic has been impressed by what he has seen from McTominay so far, and believes that there is still far more to come from his central-midfield partner in the coming years.
"He is amazing. He is 21 and to play like that [against Chelsea] and control the game like that is impressive," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "He will be a big player for Manchester United.
"I like him because he is a very nice guy and he doesn't have a problem to ask something before the game. I am always there to help him. When I came to Manchester, I saw within a few days he would become a top player.
"He is working very hard, but I don't want to say too many things about him because he is still very young. But he deserves all the good things."
McTominay has featured 15 times for United in all competitions this term, starting nine of those games.
