Manchester United first-team coach Rene Meulensteen has admitted that he is unsure over his future following Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement announcement.
Ferguson confirmed earlier this week that he will be stepping down as manager at Old Trafford in the summer to be replaced by current Everton boss David Moyes.
However, Meulensteen does not know whether he will be kept on by Moyes for next season.
"When Ferguson leaves, then we are going to brainstorm about my role at Old Trafford," Meulensteen told De Telegraaf. "I don't know what happens now. I am uncertain about the future."
Meulensteen joined United in 2001 before leaving for Brondby in 2006, but he returned to the club less than a year later.
