Michael Owen has revealed that he is "gutted" after he picked up an injury in Manchester United's 2-0 win against Otelul Galati at Old Trafford.
The 31-year-old was withdrawn after ten minutes when he suffered a leg problem in the build up to Antonio Valencia's opener.
"Gutted about my injury," he tweeted after the game. "Felt my left quad as I reached out to try and score prior to Valencias goal. Was really looking forward to playing.
"Just hope it's not too serious and I'm back in action soon. Won't get too down. Lads got an important win to put us top of our group."
