Henrikh Mkhitaryan has insisted that "better days will come" for Manchester United after Saturday's goalless draw against Burnley left the Red Devils down in eighth position in the Premier League table.
Jose Mourinho's side have only won one of their last seven league fixtures and currently sit seven points off the top four after a disappointing start to the 2016-17 campaign.
Mkhitaryan, however, who has not represented Man United since the start of September, has taken to Twitter to urge the club's supporters to continue to back the team.
On Friday, Mourinho claimed that 27-year-old Mkhitaryan would prove to be a "top player" for Man United once he has settled into English football.
The Armenian's continued absence in recent weeks has drawn widespread criticism on social media.
