Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly fuming with the Football Association after Wayne Rooney got snapped late-night drinking following England's World Cup qualifying victory over Scotland.
Rooney, who captains both club and country, allegedly celebrated the Three Lions' 3-0 win over Scotland last Friday by drinking in the team hotel.
Three days later, the 31-year-old withdrew from the England squad with a knee injury, which prevented him from playing in his national team's international friendly with Spain.
Rooney's camp have defended the forward's post-match celebrations, while Mourinho is said to be angry that the FA allowed his player to drink into the night, according to Sky Sports News.
The United boss is also believed to be unhappy that members of the England backroom staff were present during the hotel celebrations.
Meanwhile, despite suffering a knock, Rooney is expected to be fit for Saturday's Premier League clash against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
