Jose Mourinho reportedly singled out Paul Pogba for blame following Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend.
The Red Devils' recent resurgence came to a halt as they slipped up yet again on home soil, leaving them eight points adrift of Premier League pacesetters Liverpool.
Speaking to the press after the match, Pogba admitted that United were too defensive with their play, which he suggested was down to the manager.
According to The Sun, Pogba made his comments after being blasted by Mourinho in the dressing room, as the Portuguese was unhappy with the World Cup winner's mistake in the build-up to Wanderers' equaliser.
Mourinho is said to have informed Pogba that he needs to cut out the mistakes, adding to the growing tension between the pair.
United's club-record signing is rumoured to have pushed for a move away from Old Trafford during the summer.
