Manchester United manager David Moyes has heaped praise upon the professionalism of his new squad.
United will have a new manager in the dugout for the first time in 26 years when Moyes leads his side out to face Singha All Stars tomorrow, and the former Everton boss is excited by the prospect.
Despite only having a short time to get to know his players so far, Moyes has been instantly struck by the their ability, professionalism and commitment.
"I am really excited, but I am more excited about the players I am working with. They would lift any coach but they have certainly lifted me," Moyes told reporters.
"I see the ability but the biggest thing is their professionalism, which is second to none. I am really pleased to see how committed they are. Every training game they play they want to win.
"The players at Manchester United have that in-built attitude. Long may that continue."
Moyes's first competitive game in charge of United will come against FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic in the Community Shield on August 11.
