Manchester United manager David Moyes has admitted that his side are low on confidence.
The Red Devils failed to scored for the second consecutive home game as they lost 1-0 to Newcastle United at Old Trafford earlier today.
"It could have been much better, we were needing a goal to give us confidence," Moyes told BBC Sport. "They got a goal we could have done better with and it changed the game.
"We did not create enough but we did create some. When you are not quite firing, you need things to go for us; they didn't."
Today's result, coupled with Wednesday's 1-0 loss to Everton, means that Man United have suffered back-to-back home defeats in the Premier League for the first time since May 2002.
