Nemanja Matic is keen to be in talks about his future with Manchester United, according to a report.
The 33-year-old has featured 13 times this season in the Premier League, while also playing in all six group games in the Champions League, although he has yet to score a goal throughout the campaign.
However, the Serbian international has not been used since the winter break due to a shin injury, and he has only started four times since Ralf Rangnick took charge.
According to The Sun, Matic wants to begin talks with the club over a new deal, as he is aware that the Red Devils are hoping to sign a defensive midfielder during the summer transfer window.
Right now, the midfielder has over a year left on his current contract, which will expire at the end of next season, but it is believed Manchester United could sell him if the right offer is made.
The Red Devils will be back in action tonight against Brighton & Hove Albion.
