Former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville has labelled Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin as "the real thing" following his part in the Saints' 1-0 victory over Louis van Gaal's men.
The Red Devils saw their 10-game unbeaten run come to an end as some adroit finishing from Dusan Tadic and costly misses from Juan Mata gave Ronald Koeman's side three points at Old Trafford.
"Schneiderlin, not being disrespectful to Southampton here, I think he could play at any of the top clubs in the league," Neville said on Sky Sports after the game.
"I'm talking about Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, United, Liverpool, Tottenham. He's that good.
"Over a two-three year period now he's shown himself to be the real thing."
Schneiderlin has recently been linked with a move away from the club, with both United and Arsenal reportedly interested.
