Odion Ighalo has insisted that he is not paying attention to his doubters after scoring a brace for Manchester United in Thursday's 3-0 win over Derby County in the FA Cup.
Questions were raised when United signed the 30-year-old on loan from Shanghai Shenhua in the final hours of the January transfer window.
Ighalo has now managed three goals in six appearances since arriving at Old Trafford, though, and the experienced forward has revealed that he is only concerned with winning over his head coach, teammates and the club's supporters.
"I am happy. I want to congratulate the team for a hard-fought game," Ighalo told BT Sport. "As long as my teammates believe in me, the boss believes in me and the fans believe in me, I just have to keep going. I don't care what anyone says."
Ighalo is yet to get off the mark for his new club in the Premier League but has featured against Chelsea, Watford and Everton in England's top flight since arriving in January.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently claimed that the Nigeria international could join United on a permanent deal this summer if he continues to impress.
