Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly in line for a bumper new deal at Old Trafford.
The 48-year-old is yet to win over the entire United fanbase, but he has made a wholly positive impression in Manchester since taking the reins in 2018 as his side sit second in the Premier League table.
Solskjaer's existing deal in the United hotseat is due to expire in the summer of 2022, but according to The Mirror, a new lucrative contract for the former Norway star is imminent.
The report claims that Solskjaer is set to enter discussions with the United hierarchy in the coming days, and he can expect to pocket £9m per year with his new deal, compared to the £7m he currently earns at Old Trafford.
While the former Molde and Cardiff City manager continues to divide opinion among supporters, Ed Woodward and United's owners - the Glazer family - are confident that he will soon start filling the club's trophy cabinets with silverware again.
Solskjaer has won 61 of his 115 games in charge of the Red Devils and will hope to see his side's unbeaten run extend to 13 matches against West Ham United on Sunday evening. body check tags ::
