Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has said that his team were "almost perfect" in the first half of Saturday's 4-1 win over Leicester City at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils entered the clash at Old Trafford off the back of successive Premier League defeats, but responded in emphatic fashion, scoring four first-half goals against the English champions.
Pogba, who netted his first Man United goal with a close-range header, has said that his team "were very focused" against the Foxes and is predicting more of the same in the coming weeks.
"The first half was almost perfect and that's why we won the game I think. It was our best half since the start of the season. It wasn't easy for the players in the second half to switch on when we knew Leicester were going to push up to try to score goals but I think we did great," Pogba told MUTV.
"The thing we did well was we did great without the ball. It was very important and when we had the ball we just played like I knew we could. We were very focused and we produced a big performance on the pitch. We want to carry on like this."
Next up for Man United is a Europa League group match against Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk on Thursday night, before returning to Premier League action at home to struggling Stoke City next Sunday.
