Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly told teammates that he will not back down in his ongoing feud with manager Jose Mourinho.
Tensions between the pair date back to last season, but their relationship is understood to have almost completely broken down this season.
Mourinho stripped Pogba of the vice-captaincy earlier this week and confirmed in his press conference on Friday that he does not see the Frenchman as captain material.
Pogba was then hauled off after 70 minutes of this afternoon's 3-1 defeat to West Ham United, but The Mirror reports that the World Cup winner is refusing to give in to Mourinho.
The report claims that Pogba is even willing to declare that he does not want to play for Mourinho anymore, should their conflict continue to escalate.
Pogba has been linked with a return to former club Juventus, but Barcelona are understood to be leading the race for his signature.
