Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has praised Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea amid speculation that the stopper will move to the Bernabeu this summer.
De Gea has been strongly linked with a return to Spain over the last couple of months, with the 24-year-old stalling on a new deal at Old Trafford.
Ramos refused to speak in depth about De Gea out of respect to Iker Casillas and Keylor Navas, but the centre-back has hinted that he would welcome the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper.
"He's a great keeper. I'm aware of the speculation surrounding him joining Madrid but out of respect for Iker and Keylor I won't make any comments. I always like to play with the best but I can't comment on players who are not part of the club," Ramos has been quoted as saying by AS.
De Gea is expected to make a decision before the end of June.
