Arjen Robben has encouraged Manchester United to show more patience with Memphis Depay.
The winger arrived at Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven last summer in a £25m deal, but he has so far struggled to live up to that price tag.
The 22-year-old has featured on 43 occasions in all competitions this season, but his indifferent form has seen him make just two starts over the last couple of months.
However, Bayern Munich attacker Robben has backed his fellow Dutchman to produce the goods if he is given the necessary time to fulfil his potential.
"He's still very young. You have to give him some time," he told Match of the Day magazine.
"The talent is there. He's got everything that he needs to be a success in England."
Recent speculation claimed that the Red Devils had decided to part with Depay, with a potential swap deal involving Southampton's Sadio Mane in the offing.
