UEFA have confirmed that the hearing regarding the Football Association's appeal of Wayne Rooney's Euro 2012 ban will take place a day early.
The FA have requested for the hearing, which was originally Friday December 9, to be moved in order to accommodate the Manchester United striker, who is scheduled to be in Switzerland with the Red Devils for their Champions League fixture against FC Basel on December 7.
The appeal has been made in an attempt to overturn the three-match ban handed to the England international after his sending-off during the Three Lions' 2-2 draw with Montenegro last month.
The hearing is due to take place on Thursday, December 8 in Nyon.
