Wales manager Ryan Giggs has told Sports Mole that he is "excited" to take charge of his first match.
Giggs was handed his first permanent managerial role in charge of the national team last month and will oversee his first game when Wales take on China on March 22.
The former Manchester United winger is now eagerly awaiting the football side of the role, having spent his month-and-a-half in charge so far getting to know his new players and staff.
"It's going well. A lot of getting to know everyone - the players, the staff - but looking forward to the football," Giggs told Sports Mole at the Laureus World Sports Awards.
"Our first game is the 22nd of March in China, that's why I took the role - for the football - so I'm excited about that."
Giggs also praised the form of former local rivals Manchester City this season, but insisted that United can still enjoy a successful campaign.
