Ryan Giggs has reportedly decided to end his long association with Manchester United in the wake of Jose Mourinho's recent appointment as the club's new manager.
The Welshman, who is United's record appearance maker, spent the previous two campaigns as the now-departed Louis van Gaal's assistant.
It is understood that Giggs was offered a lesser role by Mourinho within the new setup - something that the 42-year-old considered during a trip to Dubai.
However, widespread speculation has now claimed that upon his return, Giggs will walk away from the club that he has represented for the last 29 years in various capacities.
It is believed that the former winger will instead look to embark on a managerial career elsewhere.
