Paul Scholes has admitted that Manchester City are capable of beating any team on the planet.
The Manchester United midfielder, who came out of retirement earlier this season, helped the Red Devils to eliminate Roberto Mancini's side from the FA Cup in his first game back. However, Scholes insists that the Citizens are still an excellent side.
"A couple of months ago, we would have snatched someone's hand off at the thought of being top," he said.
"What we've done is put ourselves in a decent position to go on and win the league but at the moment we're still far from that.
"There are still 21 points to play for and City are good team, there's no doubt about that. They're capable of beating anybody."
