Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has not ruled out a return to the club in a coaching capacity.
The 38-year-old retired for the second time at the end of last season, with Sir Alex Ferguson also leaving Old Trafford following more than two decades at the club.
"I have spoken to him (new manager David Moyes) a couple of times but I am going to take a nice break now and try and get my head away from football for a little bit," Scholes told Sky Sports News.
"You do find it hard with all the pre-season games, though, you find yourself watching them.
"Obviously it's nice there is something there for me if I want to go back to it. I am sure ultimately I probably will take up the coaching offer."
Scholes scored 107 goals in 499 appearances for Manchester United in a career that spanned for 20 years.
