Manchester United youngster Shola Shoretire made history on Wednesday when he featured in his club's UEFA Youth League clash with Valencia.
The winger became the youngest ever player to appear in the UEFA Youth League, having turned out for the Red Devils at the age of 14 years and 314 days.
Shoretire entered the field as a late substitute during United Under-19s' 2-1 win over Valencia, while Harvey Neville - the 16-year-old son of former United defender Phil Neville - also debuted in the competition.
Shoretire, who is eligible to represent both England and Nigeria at international level, has previously trained with United's Under-23 outfit.
The first team were on the wrong end of a 2-1 result at the Mestalla, however, with the defeat seeing Jose Mourinho's side finish second in Group H.
