Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has paid tribute to Anthony Martial after the Frenchman played a key role in his team's 2-1 win over Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.
Martial opened the scoring early in the second period for the home team, who were then pegged back by Gylfi Sigurdsson's header in the 71st minute.
The French teenager set up Wayne Rooney for Man United's second, however, as the Red Devils ended a run of eight games without a win in all competitions.
"He's so direct. He's a terrific player and I'm glad we've got him," Smalling told reporters after the match.
The result has temporarily moved Man United into fifth position in the Premier League table.
