Former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam has hinted that he would like to start his managerial career in England.
Stam is currently assistant manager at PEC Zwolle in Holland, but says he plans to quit and begin his career as a manager.
"I would love to join a bigger club," Stam told Voetbal International.
"At the moment nothing is concrete, but I think for me this is the right moment to take the next step.
"A few weeks ago I told the board it was my choice to stop. I want to take a look around. That could be in Holland or a foreign country. It is well known that English football attracts me."
Stam was part of the Manchester United team that won the treble in 1999.
