Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has claimed that he is hoping for a 'quick' return to action for midfielder Darren Fletcher.
The 29-year-old has been absent from the national set-up as well as Manchester United due to a chronic bowel condition, for which he required surgery last month.
"The quicker he gets back, the better for Manchester United and for me," Strachan told BBC Radio Manchester. "Any problems on the pitch never affect Darren and he'll deal with the problems he's got just now in the same way."
Fletcher will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
