Manchester United are interested in luring Atletico Madrid transfer guru Andrea Berta to the club, according to his agent.
Berta has been credited with helping to turn Atleti into a title-winning team, and his representative Dario Canovi has revealed that several European clubs are keen to acquire his services, including the Red Devils.
He told Calciomercato: "Berta is a champion. In these years at Atletico he has always achieved good results and gained money. He finds important players without paying too much, he has done miracles in Madrid.
"Although it would be far from simple. You must believe me - the best clubs in the world want Berta, the big English teams as well and not just Manchester United. Everyone has noticed his qualities."
Earlier this season, United hired former Atletico scout Gerardo Guzman.
