Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly angered his Manchester United squad by scrapping an end-of-season debrief that was planned for Monday.
The Norwegian is believed to have arranged the meeting a couple of weeks ago as a chance to review the season and discuss where United went wrong over the last nine months.
However, The Sun reports that Solskjaer pulled the plug on the get-together in the aftermath of Sunday's 2-0 home loss to 18th-placed Cardiff City.
That move is alleged to have upset a number of his first-team stars as they had already pushed back travel arrangements to make themselves available for the debrief.
United's players will now report back for pre-season training in early July, with a tour of Australia, Singapore and China being pencilled in.
The Red Devils ended the 2018-19 campaign sixth in the table and without any silverware.
