Louis van Gaal has played down Manchester United's perceived lack of firepower following a 1-0 victory at Aston Villa on Friday night.
Adnan Januzaj struck the only goal on 29 minutes as the Red Devils followed up their win over Tottenham Hotspur in last week's Premier League curtain-raiser - also a 1-0.
Combined, United have managed just three shots on target in 180 minutes, but Van Gaal insists that he is not concerned by that statistic.
"No. That does not bother me," he told Sky Sports News. "Because you have to score one more than your opponent. That's the result. We don't give many chances away.
"Every game we have more chances than the opponent and that's the game."
Wayne Rooney spearheaded the attack last night, while Januzaj, Memphis Depay and Juan Mata supported the lone striker.
