Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has issued a bold warning to the club's hierarchy and claims that he won't be sacked during his time at the Red Devils.
The Dutchman's start to life at Old Trafford hasn't been without criticism, but the former Barcelona coach is adamant that his position will not be in danger.
He told The Mirror: "I have signed a three-year contract and, believe me, I shall finish that.
"Of course I'll be given time, otherwise I wouldn't be here. I didn't have to come here. They asked me. It's not going to be done all at once. There is a trajectory and a process of three years."
His United team face Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday.
