Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has reportedly apologised to his teammates following the comments he made deemed to be critical towards the players.
The Dutchman claimed that his teammates were getting in his way following United's 2-0 defeat to Olympiacos in their last-16 Champions League tie in midweek.
However, Van Persie has insisted that he was not aiming criticism at his fellow players when he pulled them aside in a training session to apologise, according to The Mirror.
Reports have claimed that the 30-year-old was 'genuinely shocked' by suggestions that he was moaning about the team and manager David Moyes's tactics.
