Manchester United striker Robin van Persie will reportedly be fit for next Tuesday's highly anticipated Manchester derby.
Doubts over the Dutchman's fitness arose when he was stretchered off the pitch at Old Trafford after receiving a jolt to the back of his knee against Olympiacos.
Before being removed from play in the second half, Van Persie netted a hat-trick to send United through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
While it has been reported that an update on the striker's injury will be revealed tomorrow, it is understood by the Daily Mail that he has been given the go-ahead for Tuesday's crucial Premier League clash against rivals Manchester City.
It is believed that Van Persie is a doubt for this Saturday's trip to London to face West Ham United.
